The theory of atomic structure was introduced and proposed by John Dalton (an english chemist) in the 1800's. Dalton's atomic theory is about atoms, wherein all matter is made up of atoms, and small, and indivisible (which means that atoms cannot be separated) particles. Atoms that have different elements are identical and have the same mass, while on the other hand atoms with different elements vary in size, mass, and chemical behavior. Lastly, atoms cannot be subdivided, created, or destroyed.
